The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced on Wednesday that Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) registrations have reached 10.2 million.
INEC stated this in its fourth quarter, week seven report, which was released in Abuja, stating that 6.5 registrants have completed registration thus far.
According to the commission, 2,928,447 persons registered online, compared to 3,615,798 who registered in person.
A gender breakdown of the registration revealed that there were 3,253,441 men and 3,290,804 females, with 53,663 persons with disabilities and 4,550,847 young people.
INEC received 18,912,511 applications, including those for voter transfer, replacement of Permanent Voter Cards, and correction of voter information records, according to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN).
The gender distribution of the applications revealed that 9,947,320 were from men and 8,965,191 were from women, while 168,765 were from individuals with disabilities.
