Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has stated that he has not responded to Father Ejike Mbaka’s outburst against him.
Obi’s Media Advisor, Mr. Valentine Obienyem, claimed in a statement that Obi has not issued a remark on Mbaka’s attack on him.
“Our attention has been attracted to a remark attributed to Mr. Peter Obi in response to Fr. Ejike Mbaka. We desire to establish for the record that Mr. Peter Obi neither responded nor intends to do so.
“We recommend that any outlet attempting to publish such an unsigned letter confirm its validity with Mr. Obi’s Media Office,” he stated.
Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku has demonstrated his readiness to compete for the highest position in the nation, according to Mbaka, because he and Obi are no longer on the same ticket.
“Peter Obi has a full mouth, and he has nowhere to go unless he kneels at the altar of Adoration.”
He accused the Labour Party’s presidential candidate of profaning the holy spirit.
Mbaka asserted that he assisted Obi in regaining his position as governor of Anambra State, “but he did not come to thank God.”
“Who doesn’t spend his money on the foods you wish to support? Do you desire that others starve? If he becomes president, our ministry will be shut down. If Igbo people are seeking a spokesperson in Nigeria, they should go other than Peter Obi.”
Whoever refuses to contribute to the church ought to be president?
A statement circulated hours after the word went viral that Obi had responded to him.
