Adamu Garba II, an All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential hopeful, has voiced dissatisfaction with the planned 100 million naira buy form cost for the presidential Expression of Interest form.

The APC recommended purchasing form costs on Wednesday, with presidential candidates paying 30 million for Nomination forms and 100 million for Expressions of Interest forms.

Garba II expressed his dismay on social media about the exorbitant price of presidential forms.

“100M for the form,” he tweeted. Wow!”

He also encouraged Nigerians to band together to preserve the country from wealthy politicians, saying that politicians should not be allowed to continue purchasing political posts.

“We are doing a grave disservice to our generation and the future if we do not band together and utilise our collective strength to free our nation from the stranglehold of the moneybags.”

“We can’t keep buying political posts in Nigeria; we’ll need qualified leaders by 2023,” he remarked.

Adamu Garba, an IT entrepreneur and CEO of IPI Solutions, ran for president in the 2019 elections and has indicated interest in running again in 2023.
