Prophet Godfrey Gbujie, the leader of the World Zionist Union in the Southeast, has appealed to the people of Igbo to forgive President Muhammadu Buhari for his recent remarks on ‘dot in circle’.
While explaining that the Igbo are scattered throughout Nigeria, with their businesses and properties located everywhere, the President’s description of Southeast zone as a ‘dot in a circle’ has disturbed the Igbo.
But Prophet Gbujie appealed to the Igbo people in a statement issued in Enugu over the weekend to forgive the president and understand that everything happening in the country at present is a divine act.
“I am compelled to make a strong appeal to the much aggrieved Ndigbo to more Christianly understand and appreciate the plight of and to forgive His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari’s unpresidential verbal declaration of June 10, 2021, in which he called Southeast a ‘dot in the circle’.
“I am submitting this ministerial appeal to you based on my profound understanding of the mysteries of the long-promised and graphically unfolding ‘plan of divine intervention in Nigeria’s affairs’, which encompass and affect his (Buhari’s) character, presidential and governmental roles, which he cannot understand/alter.
Despite describing President Buhari as a “very nice, decent, and nationalistic gentleman,” Gbujie said that Buhari’s presidential character and policies were dictated and controlled by powers beyond his control.
Thus, let us understand and appreciate the spiritual and sociopolitical background, limitations and helplessness of President Muhammadu Buhari, for most of his erroneous presidential policies, actions, and utterances are charges against the revealed plan of God.
Stop blaming him for the negativities because he is nothing more than a mere human vessel and cannot wriggle himself out of the mysterious spiritual web in which he helplessly finds himself.
To help him fulfill his own part and role in our nation’s divinely conceived and unfolding socio-political tragicomedy, I request both private and collective intercession to God for Divine Mercy and Grace.
