The Presidency said on Friday that when the Buhari administration breasts the tape in another two years there would be resounding applause, even from the most skeptic of critics.

Femi Adesina, the presidential spokesman, said this in a statement titled ‘The Buhari Administration at 6: Counting our Blessings One by One’.

The statement outlined the accomplishments of the current federal government led by President Buhari in the last six years.

According to Adesina, the administration has made major strides in various parts of the economy which are being noted by those with fair minds and over-riding political partisanship, not influenced by undue cynicism or partisanship.

The statement read in part: “The Muhammadu Buhari administration clocks six years on May 29, 2021.

The significance of this milestone offers the opportunity to reflect on the impact made (and is still making) on different sectors of national life.

“From infrastructure, to finance, education, healthcare, sports, anti-corruption, human development, housing, oil and gas, foreign policy, and many others, the administration is recording giant strides that make Nigerians proud.

“That is, those who are dispassionate and fair-minded, unclouded by partisanship and unwarranted cynicism.

“Some people believe that we are not seeing what they do. We don’t hear anything about it.

“By the grace of God, when the Administration breasts the tape in another two years, the applause will be resounding, even from those who are most sceptical.”.

“Facts always remain undeniable. Those things are stubborn.”
