The International Organization for Migration (IOM) stated on Saturday that a small wooden boat carrying approximately 35 migrants sank off the coast of Libya and that six dead had been recovered.
According to the report, 29 additional people remain missing and feared dead as a result of Friday’s catastrophe.
According to the IOM, at least 53 migrants have been reported dead or missing off the coast of Libya this week alone.
