Residents of Sabon Tasha in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State staged a protest on Thursday after bandits abducted nine people in their community.
Protesters took to the streets after the bandits demanded N20 million for each kidnapped person.
On Wednesday night, an incident occurred in the Ungwan Gimbiya community of Sabo.
Several people, including a landlord and his tenants, were kidnapped from one house.
In the same Local Government, armed men abducted 121 students from Bethel Baptist High School two days earlier.
The Daily Trust spoke with a resident of Sabo, who declined to give his name. He said people are tired of being abducted.

The protesters were reportedly forced to leave the road by police deployed to maintain law and order.
