A band of bandits attacked another village in Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Sunday, killing six residents. The bandits invaded the village, whose inhabitants are mostly hunters.
As most of the men had gone hunting, the attack took place after they left. Intangaza town was attacked on Saturday by 13 bandits. It was unclear whether the attack was related.
Two married women were among the victims in Saminaka village, according to our source.
