A member of the Bayelsa State Police Command’s Operation Puff Adder II has arrested a suspected armed robber, Teke Kolokol, who was in possession of guns and bullet-proof army fatigues.

In Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state, he was arrested on Ayama road, Famgbe community.

Asinim Butswat, a spokesman for the Bayelsa State police, said in a statement on Tuesday that police operatives also recovered a pistol, eight cartridges, illicit drugs, and a bulletproof vest from the suspect.

“The suspect is cooperating with the Police and will appear in Court at the conclusion of the investigation,” Butswat said.
