A Chief Magistrate Court in Uganda nowadays December 15, dropped the expenses towards fast-rising Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems.

The singers had been arrested on Sunday, December 13, and charged with doing “acts that are probable to motive the unfold of infectious disease, Covid-19” following the unlawful live performance at Ddungu hotel in Munyonyo with giant crowds whilst the united states is on lockdown.

They have been arraigned earlier than the Makindye division court docket on Monday, December 14 and remanded in specific prisons until Wednesday, December 16.

Following the outcry from Nigerians and some diplomatic strikes made via the Nigerian government, the fees towards them have now been dropped.
