Police in the Delta State Police command have arrested two pastors for allegedly killing the 13-year-old girl, Miracle Mwafor, whose heart was ripped open and other vital organs removed last Friday, June 4.

A report indicates that the victim attends the minister’s church with her mother who is a small businesswoman. The pastor claimed that he had put Miracle on a motorcycle after the evening service so she could be taken home. The mother, who was at home, became agitated after waiting endlessly for her daughter.

The police were alerted and the motorcyclist was apprehended after a thorough investigation. A suspect was interrogated who implicated a pastor. Afterwards, the suspects reportedly led detectives to the place where the mutilated body of the girl was found near the state School of Nursing.

Bright Edafe, the spokesperson for the state police command, confirmed the arrest of the pastor and another member of the church.
