Bashir El-Rufai, son of Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, mocked Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
At a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, announced Kanu’s arrest.
The fugitive leader of the outlawed sect was arrested on Sunday, he said.
As a result of the arrest of IPOB leader, different reactions have been expressed.
The governor’s son described the development as a victory for the country.
In a tweet, he showed the IPOB leader a photo and called him a toothless bulldog.
“There are those who will be upset this hooligan was arrested, but will be too cowardly to express their disappointment. The country has won. I hope we all continue to progress together. Please, President Buhari, lock him up with a cow in a cell.”
