Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has rejoined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

At a brief event in Aso Rock on Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari welcomed him to the ruling party.

Several APC governors witnessed the return of Fani-Kayode, who left the party in 2014, citing irreconcilable differences.

Former APC member Fani-Kayode has been highly critical of the Buhari administration and APC after leaving the ruling party.

When it was reported that he had returned to APC two years ago, Fani-Kayode said he would rather die than do so.

“No matter what happens, I am committed to opposing the APC and those in its ranks for the rest of my natural life.At the time, he had said.
