A police station in Izombe, Oguta Local Government Area, was set on fire by some gunmen believed to be from the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Gunmen attacked the Atta police station in Njaba Local Government Area of the state less than 24 hours earlier.
In an exchange of fire with security agents, four of the hoodlums were killed.
Bala Elkana, the police spokesman in the state, said the latest incident occurred on Saturday between 7 pm and 10 pm.
Bala said: “The hoodlums launched an offensive on Izombe Police Station but were repulsed by the gallant policemen on duty.
“Four hoodlums were neutralized in the attack, while others fled with bullet wounds.
He said a mop-up operation is being conducted to arrest other fleeing members of the gang.
