Three workers of a farm reportedly owned by former president Olusegun Obasanjo in Kobape, Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, have been kidnapped by gunmen.
According to reports, the attackers ambushed workers at the Obasanjo holdings Wednesday evening, shot at their vehicles, and then took them away.
As of the time of filing this report, the names of the workers could not be determined. They were identified as a financial controller, group auditor, and group store manager.
Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, confirmed the incident.
It happened today (Wednesday) around 6:30 p.m., he said. Around Kobape there are farms owned by Obasanjo.
“Our men have begun searching for them, and we will ensure that they are rescued.”
