The Lagos State House of Assembly has passed the Value Added Tax Bill and the bill that prohibits Open grazing.
On Monday, both bills passed first and second readings in the house, and the finance committee was asked to report back by Thursday.
On Wednesday, the committee held a public hearing on the bills, and by Thursday, they were passed by parliament.
Speaker Mudashiru Obasa sent copies of the bills to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu through the Acting Clerk of the House, Mr. Olalekan Onafeko.
Both bills were passed after being read a third time on the floor of the house and following unanimous votes by the lawmakers.
