Stephanie Se-Ember Terungwa, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and her one-year-old son have been abducted.

According to her uncle, Richard Iorliam, the missing corps member was last seen on April 14, 2022, in the Lokogoma neighbourhood of Abuja.

Iorliam stated that she was kidnapped while in Abuja for a Community Development Service (CDS) activity.

He stated that while the child was eventually located, the mother remains unaccounted for.

“I’m looking for my niece…” Anyone with knowledge about this case is urged to contact the police. The last location that is known is Lokogoma in Abuja. After attending a NYSC cds exercise, she was abducted with her one-year-old kid. Although the baby was eventually discovered, she remains unaccounted for. Please spread the word till she is located,” he said on Facebook.

Later in the day, a Social Media user claimed that the corpse of the missing corps member had been discovered, however Daily Trust is unable to independently verify this report.

As of the time of posting this story, Josephine Adeh, the spokeswoman for the Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) Police Command, was unavailable for comment.

Stephanie is a graduate of the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University in Makurdi, Benue State, with a degree in microbiology.
