The application for bail submitted by suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sunday J. Ubua, was denied by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

They’ve been charged with five other people in connection with illegal narcotics activities.

In a judgement issued Monday morning, Justice Emeka Nwite stated that the prosecution has presented adequate evidence to the court to justify the denial of bail to both senior police officials.
