Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential contender for the 2023 general election, is currently attending an important meeting with party governors in Abuja.
A few minutes after Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nomination as the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 elections, the meeting commenced.
According to our information, the selection of Atiku Abubakar’s running partner will be the primary focus of the meeting.
The formation of the Presidential Campaign Council, the emergence of Tinubu, and tactics for removing the APC from office in 2023 may also be of concern.
Bayelsa Governor Douyi Diri, Bauchi Governor Bala Muhammed, Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike, and Benue Governor Samuel Ortom were present during the meeting.
Others are Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo.
