A pregnant woman has been kidnapped from the Lema community in Mando, beside the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Zaria, Kaduna State by Bandits
Sunday at approximately 1:00 a.m., when the criminals broke into three homes, they abducted seven additional individuals.
Musa Danladi, one of the inhabitants, stated that they were all terrified to leave their homes due to gunfire.
“At approximately 1:00 a.m., they entered the village and abducted eight inhabitants, including a pregnant woman who had come to see her sick mother. This is not the first time our neighbourhood has been attacked by bandits,” he stated.
Other residents requested assistance from the state government.
The government has yet to comment on the incident, but the State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige, stated that he will investigate and come back to our reporter with more information.
He had not done so as of the time this report was filed.
