Bandits are now raiding the Daza hamlet in Niger State’s Munya Local Government Area.
Many inhabitants have evacuated their houses, according to witnesses who verified this to Daily Trust.
Around 5 p.m., bandits attacked the neighbourhood and abducted a large number of residents.
The Public Relations Officer of the Niger State Police Command, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, and the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Internal Security, both failed to react to messages addressed to them.
Nurudeen Isyaku Daza, a member of the village, claims the bandits have gone unnoticed.
“As I talk with you, we are unable to provide an accurate number of persons abducted due to the presence of bandits in the town.” “A large number of individuals have left,” he stated.
