Bandits who attacked the Abuja-Kaduna train service AK9 on Monday night in Dutse village, killing eight people, have called one of the missing passengers’ families.
The bandits informed the family that their daughter, as well as other travelers, were in their camps with them.
The criminals called on Tuesday night, according to a family source, but did not demand a ransom.
“They phoned us Tuesday night and said our sister, along with other missing travelers, is safe with them in their camps.” They didn’t say anything after that.
“We’re praying to God for help and for her safety.” He stated, “We are appealing with the kidnappers to release her for us.”
