Ayuba, a seven-year-old kid, was slain when bandits attacked the Paikon Basa village in the Gurdi ward of the Abaji Area Council in Abuja.
James Gwatana, a local resident, reported that criminals armed with sophisticated firearms assaulted the hamlet on Friday night.
He stated that in addition to the infant, a guy and his wife were also struck by stray shots.

According to him, the bandits kidnapped four locals and stormed a number of stores to steal food supplies.
