Bandits Terrorists raided a Kofar Gayan Low-Cost Housing Estate in Zaria, Kaduna State’s Zaria Local Government Area, and allegedly abducted an undetermined number of individuals.
The criminals assaulted the village on Wednesday night, March 30, causing harm on people and everything in sight, according to ThisDay.
Although details of the attacks are still vague, a person in the region who corroborated the occurrence reported that Muawiya Gambo, a custom officer, and his son, Khaleefa, were among those allegedly taken.
One of the people who corroborated the news stated the terrorists stormed the neighborhood about 10 p.m. yesterday, though he couldn’t say exactly what transpired.
“At around 10 p.m., there was a significant onslaught in the Low Cost neighborhood. I can’t tell if certain individuals were kidnapped or not since I don’t have enough information right now. He responded, “I’ll give you the information tomorrow.”
According to the report, the thieves rushed the location in large numbers and began firing irregularly before fleeing with a few persons.
When reached, Mohammed Jalige, spokesman for the Kaduna State Police Command, claimed he was unaware of the occurrence since he had not yet received any information about it.
“”I can’t confirm that since I haven’t gotten a report on the event,” he replied, “but I’ll check with our troops in the area.”
