Flight Lt Abubakar Alkali of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been named as one of the officers killed in a jet crash.
The training plane went down in Kaduna State on Tuesday evening, April 19, with two pilots on board.
The aircraft, believed to be a Super Mushak, reportedly crashed within a NAF base while on a training mission.
In a statement signed by Alhaji Sule Dauda, the family of the dead pilot conveyed the tragic news.
According to the statement, the officer was buried according to Islamic rites on Tuesday evening at the NAF base Central Mosque in Kaduna.
