Hussein Lawal, a Kano State native from Durun in the Kabo Local Government Area, started walking from Abuja to Lagos on Wednesday to show support for Ahmed Bola Tinubu, a national leader of the All Progressives Congress.

Before embarking on the trek from Abuja City Gate, Lawal, 30, spoke to reporters.

He was carrying a tiny bag containing a photograph of Tinubu with the inscription: ‘For continuation.’ Ahmed Bola Tinubu, 2023, is the sure answer and Baba’s replacement.’

“I want to make a sacrifice for Nigerian youths by travelling from Abuja to Abuja to persuade Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu to run for President of Nigeria after President Buhari,” he added.

“If it’s about money, he’s made it.” To transform Nigeria, he has to be president. He requires such authority in order to transform the Nigerian youngsters who have long been oppressed by numerous leaders.

“So, I’d be leaving from Abuja’s City Gate for Lagos, where the tour would end at Tafawa Balewa Square.”
