The writer @EmdeeDavid, who uses the Twitter account @EmdeeDavid, posted a video of the cop attacking him and wrote:
”Dear @followlasg and @followlastma. Does a #lastma officer have the authority to hit a motorist like this? Is this not assault? This officer must be checked. #StopLastmaBully”
The video drew the attention of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the state governor, who met with the attacked writer.
The erring official has been fired, according to the writer, who posted the news on his Instagram stories.
