Haryana Police have apprehended a Nigerian citizen sought on suspicion of smuggling 280 gram heroin worth over N1.2 million.

On Tuesday, April 12, the accused, just known as Nnamdi, was apprehended in Delhi.

SP Fatehabad Surender Singh Bhoria stated that the Anti-Narcotic Cell recently apprehended two teenagers, Sanjay and Akshay, from Fatehabad’s Tohana town and confiscated 280 grams of heroin from their hands.

During interrogation, Akshay admitted to purchasing heroin from Nnamdi, who was residing in Delhi.

As a result of the intelligence, a police squad was dispatched to Delhi to apprehend him.

The offender was brought before a judge and sentenced to three days in police detention.
