IPOB, the Indigenous People of Biafra, has said that it expects justice from the Federal High Court in Abuja on April 8, 2022.
Ifeanyi Ejiofor, IPOB’s lead lawyer, gave this declaration in Owerri on Tuesday.
He said the hope of justice was predicated on a suit filed in Abuja court contesting the competence of the charge brought against jailed IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu by the Department of State Service, DSS.
“Our Court-Ordered regular visit to our indefatigable Client Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was done,” IPOB’s lawyer said. The central topic of our meeting was our final plan for dealing with the outcome of the anticipated judgement on our Application challenging the Charge’s competence, which is expected on Friday.
“Within the confines of enabling legislation, our demands were recorded and taken into consideration. Onyendu is more than ready for the ruling on Friday. He has a solid demeanor and is a staunch believer in what he believes.
“On April 8, 2022, ChukwuOkike Abiama will assume ultimate power, and we want justice to be obviously shown to have been done at the conclusion of the procedures.” There will be a light at the end of the tunnel, rest assured. Onyendu’s release is imminent. It’s always ahead and never backward!”
“Onyendu has asked millions of his fans and Ezigbo UmuChineke to continue to pray for him, especially as this momentous day approaches.” You should all be steadfast in your hope that Onyendu will triumph in the near future. “Onyendu is ecstatic with Ezigbo UmuChineke’s actions and encourages you all to keep up the excellent job,” IPOB added.
