Police in Lagos have detained four people who were dressed as soldiers and were caught in the act.

Three men and a woman were reportedly captured at 1.30am on Sunday in the state’s Iju region.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the arrest and stated that a car had been retrieved from the impersonators.

The suspects have been taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, for further investigation, according to Hundeyin, via his Twitter handle, @BenHundeyin.
