According to reports, the attack occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. at the Emmy gas station just opposite the Assemblies of God’s Church near the school.

However, the police stated, “The Command wishes to set the record straight that on June 10, 2022, at approximately 00:00 hours, we received information that unidentified thugs were firing along the Mararaban Jama’a, Riyom road, not the Science School Kuru Jos as reported by a cross-section of the media.”
