In Port Harcourt, Rivers state, six children were rescued from a suspected female kidnapper.
The event occurred on Tuesday, March 22 in Mango Estate in the Elelenwo area of Port Harcourt, according to an eyewitness, Witty Smith.
One of the kidnapped youngsters apparently escaped and notified nearby people, according to reports.
The children were tied with a rope and one of them was apparently dead when the residents burst into the woman’s home.
“Every parent should be careful and keep dere eyes down to lead dere child/ward no matter how tight ur work schedule is, try ur best to send ur child to school urself, pick dem up urself nd avoid needless errands for now because d world is changing every day,” the witness stated.
“There is nothing that God can’t do.
Dis children were rescued nw, at mango estate elelenwo, from the hands of a woman who kidnapped and held them captive in her home, but one of the children managed to flee and alerted the surrounding community. When they broke in, they discovered six youngsters with their wrists tied behind their backs, one of them was already dead.”
