Mr. Solomon Gimba has mourned his brother, a soldier killed in gun battle with bandits in Kaduna State.
Recall that eleven Nigerian soldiers were slain in a suspected gunman attack on a military installation in the state’s Birnin Gwari LGA.
On Monday night, April 4, militants on motorbikes and wielding heavy weapons such as rocket-propelled grenades (RPG) stormed the base in Polwire village, engaging the troops in an intense fire fight.
Mr Gimba, a resident of Southern Kaduna, used Facebook on Tuesday, April 5, to express his grief over his younger brother.
“My young brother, the news of your demise came as a shock. In Kaduna state, you perished in a bandit-infested battleground while defending your fatherland. Continue to recline at the feet of the master. Please pray for my family “he penned
“Continue to rest in peace, my brother; the evil one who cut your life short will be revealed by God, Kaduna??? Bandit??? Nigeria will experience peace as a result of God’s intervention.”
