The Republic of Benin has released Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Ighoho.
Today, March 7, the Yoruba Self-determination Groups known as Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide released a statement titled ‘Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo Ighoho released to Yoruba leader, Banji Akintoye; French language specialist, Adeniran by the Benin Republic Government’.
The claim reads:
On July 19, Igboho was arrested in Benin Republic while fleeing Nigeria with his wife Ropo after his home was raided by security agents last July. His wife was later released.
