Ten kidnappers suspected of terrorizing the Obbo-Aiyegunle/Ekiti axis in Kwara State have been apprehended.
They were apprehended after a raid on their lair in the woods, where they are said to keep their victims.
The axis has recently gained a reputation for kidnappings, with several victims being discovered dead even after ransom was paid.
Guns, knives, and cutlasses, among other hazardous weapons purportedly discovered from them, are among the weapons they used to commit their crime.
During a phone conversation with Daily Trust, Alhaji Saka Ibrahim, the Kwara State Vigilante Commander, confirmed the occurrence.
“Seven were arrested on Tuesday, while three were apprehended on Wednesday,” he said. Our soldiers, on the other hand, are still combing the jungle. When they emerge from the forest, we’ll hand them over to the cops.”
