Terrorists in large numbers, armed with advanced weapons, have invaded Dantsauni hamlet in the Batagarawa Local Government Area of Kâtsina State, killing three people and wounding several more.
This morning, Abdulrashid Abba Manna, an emigrant from the Katsinan town of Dantsauni, went farming but was ambushed and assassinated by terrorists.
Three days before, bandits invaded the nearby villages of Babbar Ruga, Kwarin Maikotso, and Kore, killing two people and abducting eight more.
Babbar Ruga and Dantsauni are only one kilometre apart.
Terrorists also kidnapped dozens of people, including women and children, during the onslaught, which saw hundreds of people flee for their life to the historic city of Katsina.
Some bullets were fired along Katsina Ring Road, which is located just outside the city limits.
Locals said that no security personnel were present during the terrorists’ 45-minute raid, which took place during the day.
When reached, Katsina police spokesman SP Gambo Isah, who verified the incident, said one person had died and two others had been injured. SP Gambo Isah
