The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) told a former governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, to perish the thought of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ruling the country for 40 years.
Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, said Nigerians were resolute in their determination not to accept the APC and its bloodletting, killings, violations, corruption and economic hardships beyond May 29, 2023.
The PDP’s position, Ologbondiyan said, was based on Sheriff’s “arrogant and reckless assertion” that they want to impose APC in power for the next 40 years in defiance of Nigeria’s decision to disband their party by 2023.
APC leader Ali Modu Sheriff should realize that Nigerians are aware of the APC and its members’ desperate plans to conduct terrorism, banditry, treasury looting, infringement of rights, and electoral manipulation in our country under the cover of the APC.
There is no amount of manipulation or evil machination that will be able to sway the Nigerian people from eliminating the APC in the 2023 general elections.
As a consequence, the PDP has nothing but pity for Ali Modu Sheriff and his cohorts, as the conspiracies against our dear nation will surely fail,” he said.
