As retaliation for the removal of Adamu Garba’s Crowwe app, a Nigerian citizen raised alarm after some Northern youths set to remove Nnamdi Kanu’s Radio Biafra app from the Play Store.
After the Buhari-led administration banned Twitter indefinitely, the Crowwe app, which is described as an instant messaging and financial transaction app that comes with a digital wallet that allows you to transfer money while chatting, received poor reviews following his statement.
Adamu Garba, the CEO of Crowwe App, had supported the suspension of Twitter in Nigeria and went on to mock Twitter, encouraging Nigerians to download his own social media application.
Some Nigerians, however, reported and gave his app bad reviews, which many believe led to its removal.
Northern youths are mobilizing to report Igbo-owned apps in retaliation for Crowwe’s removal. One of the apps listed is Nnamdi Kanu’s World Biafra Radio
