Plateau State’s Bassa Local Government Area has been terrorised by suspected Fulani herdsmen who have massacred numerous people, including children, in the hamlet of Te’egbe.

Several houses were set on fire and numerous people were injured in the early morning attack on Friday, November 26, according to reports.

An official from the Miango Youth Development Association confirmed the incident and claimed that search and rescue activities were still underway for those who were killed.

Bitrus reported that 10 people had been taken to the mortuary after being shot by the assailants.

It was again another tragic night for the Rigwe nation when militia invaded the community of Te’egbe, killing dozens and injuring many more. “They also set fire to their homes,” he continued.
