The Nigerian Police Force has arrested three men suspected of kidnapping over 100 students from Bethel Baptist School, Kaduna.
Frank Mba, the Force Public Relations Officer, paraded the suspects at the former headquarters of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Abuja, dressed in military camouflage.
The perpetrators confessed to the crime.
Adamu Bello, Isiaku Lawal, and Muazu Abubakar told newsmen that they abducted 25 students and carried out the operation in their desperate bid to acquire money.
Abubakar, a 27-year-old suspect, said: “25 of us carried out the operation.”. I received N100,000 from the kidnapping of 136 students.”
