Three Policemen killed in Onitsha as gunmen set their patrol van on fire

Three policemen have been killed in Onitsha, Anambra State. On Sunday morning, an incident occurred at Ukaegbu/Ezeiweka road in Onitsha.

The patrol van of the deceased officers was also set ablaze.

According to our correspondent, two more policemen were injured in the attack.

The witness confirmed the incident, but the Police Public Relations Officer for Anambra state, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, said that he had not yet been informed.

Over the past few years, security personnel have been attacked in the South East.

Some of the attacks have been attributed to the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
