Some of the officers who were killed in an ambush by terrorists in Abuja have been identified.

on Sunday night, terrorists in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) assassinated a captain and two troops in the Bwari district of Bwari.

The Presidential Guards Brigade officers who were killed were reportedly ambushed after visiting the Nigeria Law School in Bwari in response to a distress call from the school’s management.

Supposedly, the school administration was made aware of an impending attack by terrorists who had dropped a letter in the building.

Captain Godfrey Anebi Abakpa, a spokesman for the Guards Brigade, confirmed the attack to Daily Trust, but said troops were already searching the area to ensure that terrorists were not hiding there.

Shauntv was informed that Lieutenant Ibrahim Suleiman and Captain Samuel Attah, both natives of Kogi State, were murdered in the ambush.

His father, Col. Suleiman Ahmodu Babanawa’s son was named Suleiman (rtd). In the Olamaboro Local Government Area, he was a native of Okpo. He was from the state’s Ibaji local government, which is where the late Attah came from.

As a result, the families of the fallen troops have received an outpouring of sorrow.

Relatives of the deceased soldier said he made his mark in the Nigerian Army before he was forced to retire.
