State officials in Borno have reportedly locked down the NNPP’s Maiduguri, Borno State, headquarters.
On Thursday, the Borno State Urban Development Management Board sealed the party’s headquarters and a number of its offices.
This was confirmed by Dr. Umaru Alkali, the NNPP candidate for governor of Borno State, when speaking to reporters in Maiduguri.
Hon Attom Muhammad Maigira, the party’s candidate for Central Senator, was also arrested after complying with a police invitation, he said.
