President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet where he threatened to deal with Nigerians who were misbehaving has been deleted by Twitter.
In the tweet Buhari shared on Tuesday, he spoke about the experience of civil war and threatened to deal with those “bent on destroying” Nigeria through “insurrection.”
He had said, “Those of us who went through the war for 30 months will treat them according to their language.”.
Twitter deleted the tweet on Wednesday after widespread condemnation.
The platform said the post violated its rules.
It is not immediately clear if the platform will take further action against the president.
