Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California, spoke to the Russian people on Thursday and pleaded with Russian President Vladimir Putin to put an end to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
In a nine-minute video on Twitter, the Hollywood star said that the Kremlin was purposely lying to Russians by claiming that the invasion was designed to “denazify” Ukraine. “Special operation” is how Russia labels its acts.
As he pointed out, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is Jewish, thus Ukraine did not initiate this conflict, nor did nationalists or Nazis. “This is not a battle of the Russian people against the Russian people.”
Ukrainian towns have been wrecked and more than 3 million refugees have fled to neighbouring countries as a result of Europe’s worst invasion since World War II.
After the Kremlin blocked down access to many media channels and websites, it’s unclear how much the Russian people know about the battle.

“Your courage has been recognised by the entire globe. As a result of your bravery, you’ve had to deal with the repercussions “he explained. “You’ve made me a new fan.”
The 74-year-old Republican action hero and former bodybuilder pleaded with Russian President Vladimir Putin to put an end to the invasion. According to him, hundreds of Russian troops have been slain while their superiors have lied to them about what they were doing.
Because of his father’s experiences as an Austrian soldier in World War 2, he informed the Russian soldiers, “Your life, your limbs, and your future have been lost for a stupid war.”
