Wednesday, U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated that he did not foresee a time in the near future when peace negotiations over Ukraine would occur.
Guterres stated at a news conference with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, “This war will not go forever, and there will be a time for peace negotiations.”
In statements translated into German by an official translation, he said, “I do not see that happening in the near future, but I can say this: we will never lose up.”
