The government of Finland reported its websites were hacked on Friday, at the same time that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was making a video speech to Finland’s parliament.
Both the military and foreign affairs ministries tweeted that their websites had been targeted by denial of service assaults, which are designed to render websites inaccessible to normal users.
Later, the foreign ministry stated that the situation had returned to normal.
According to the administration, the hacks also targeted the primary government website.
A Russian state aircraft violated Finnish airspace earlier on Friday, according to Finland’s defence minister.
