U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Tuesday that the organization is “temporarily relocating” families of international staff from Ethiopia because of the country’s security situation, but emphasized that UN personnel would continue to be stationed in the country.

Dujarric stated that “we will continue to follow the situation as it develops, keeping in mind the safety of our employees and the necessity of continuing to stand and deliver, as well as to maintain operations and help all of the people who require our assistance.”
