Individuals who interfere with the democratic process or foment violence against civilian populations before, during, or after the elections will be closely monitored by the United States.”
People who commit election-related violence or undermine the democratic process will face penalties – including visa restrictions – from the United States government. “
“Under U.S. immigration law, some offenses may also lead to limitations on family members. In order to ensure a safe and credible election process for the public, electoral officials, party members, and security force personnel, we ask for their cooperation.”
There will be a general election on Saturday.
