The World Health Organization confirmed “many” attacks on health-care facilities in Ukraine on Sunday, and said it is investigating others.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated in a Twitter post that the attacks resulted in several deaths and injuries.
“Attacks on healthcare facilities or personnel constitute a violation of medical neutrality and international humanitarian law,” he stated.
Tedros made no mention of Russia, which invaded Ukraine on February 24.
